DT post-Creative Card Crew-challenge 52-Anything Goes

Hi everyone!
It's Christmas Eve-I am soooo excited!!
My card today is a quick one-just some embossing and colouring! Its for the Creative Card Crew-Anything Goes so it;'s an easy one for you all to use your new crafty christmas pressies on!!
I used a dark blue card base and have embossed on white with a sizzix embossing folder called birds. The bird stamp is Woodware and I have embossed it in white and then coloured using a memento ink. I stamped another one and added some glitter domes from Docraft to the corners.
I wish you all a very merry christmas and hope you all have good health over the festive period (and that santa brings you all you wished for!)

Creative Card Crew DT post-Challenge 51 Christmas Holly or Poinsettia

Hi all!!
hope this finds you well.
It's almost christmas!! yippee!!
I have not been blogging much lately due to being poorly and having so much christmas stuff to do so apologies for not being here so much.

The theme for this fortnights challenge is holly or poinsettia. Both are really lovely and christmasy. I have used a gorgeous image from Delicious Doodles. They are giving away the prize for this challenge which is 4 digis! So come one get a last minute craft in (or you could start on next years stash!!) and enter this fab challenge!

I coloured my image using pro markers and matted it onto red card. the holly paper is from my stash. I made the emvelopes andthe mini cards inside them. The two acetate birds are Kanban and I put 2 blobs of liquid pearls on the other 2 corners. I have covered the post box with Docrafts 3D gloss to make it shiny-I think it's a great effect! I also made some fake snow underneath using Memento London Fog and a scrap of paper.

Thanks for looking and I am looking forward to seeing your creations!

Creative Card Crew DT post-Challenge 50-Sweet treats

Hi everyone! Can you believe it-I am on a design team! I am now a very pleased member of the fab creative card crew and this is my first design team creation- I hope you can see it!!
It is a gift card ginger bread house made from craft card. The papers and snow glitter are freebies from a magazine, as are the sweet stamps which I have fussy cut out and coloured with pro markers.
The red snowflake is red mirri card from my stash and the die itself was a hero arts one. The trees are the same set.
The candy canes are a stamp from a MME set and I have fussy cut these and covered them with Docrafts 3D clear gloss.
The lace is from the market-I have found a little gold mine in the market. She sells ribbon, lace and buttons! there is also a material lady in there too who I have bought some gorgeous material from to make some bunting!
My gingerbread man is s freehand one and I have used white pen and some liquid pearls for his buttons.
I used brads from my stash to hold the card in place where the gift card goes.
hope you like it!

christmas kitchen

Hi all-again!! second time tonight-get me! I made these last week.
the stamp is little claire which I love. My favourite bit is the cat on the stool.Although it isn't actually a christmas stamp I have tried to make it look christmasy. I have masked a section out and added a row of baubles at the top and have covered these with glossy accents.

The sentiment is crafty sentiments in this second card. The bauble in the first card is spellbinders freebie from a magazine recently.

The snowman

Hi all!
I hope you're all ok. I have counted my christmas cards and think I have enough so any extra now are just in case ones! however having said that I think I am addicted to christmas cards and will probably go on making them.
This idea came from create and craft but I cn't remember who made it-I loved it so much I have made my own version.

I don't know who the snowman stamp is. The tree die is memory box. I have coloured with promarkers. and the sentiment is from the computer. No ideas who the papers are by!

Have a good evening!xx

black christmas tree

Hi everyone!
It's been horrible wet weather here for 48 hours but it's finally stopped and the sun has been out!
I madea quick card this morning based on a sketch by Jen at sketch saturday. Here it is:

The tree die is a magazine freebie and the papers are DCWV. Stamp is magazine freebie and the stars are a memorry box die. I was inspired also by stars and stripes at holly jolly christmas.

I liked the colours so much that I decided to do 2! This is the 2nd which is almost identical except I decided to add a bit more!

This is the inside of both.

Hope you like it , and thank you for may comments you may make.

white christmas

Hi all!

I have had a go at an all white card-and I like it!! So much so that I will be doing a few more as they're so quick! Pete says they're very elegant-like you would see in M & S! That was enough for me!
I used a freebie embossing strip that came in a magazine this week-cards and papercraft I think.
Snowflakes are memory box. I have used some white shimmery card on plain card and used my hoogie to put a square on it.

I have done another one which I embossed the middle piece again on shimmery card. I heat embossed some snowflakes on it and embossed it.
The embossed frame is from my stash-got them at NEC last year.

Hope you like them!

thank you for any comments you make, and have a fab evening!

christmas cake

Evening eveybody! It's a windy one here but I'm tucked up all cosy in my jammies!
This card I am a bit unsure about! I'm not sure it's christmasy enough. I initially thought the paper was christmasy because of the candy canes but as I started to do something I had to add the ribbon to make it more festive. I hope it has worked. It is based on a sketch #2 at christmas stampin all year long.

I have used an old Dovercraft stamp set of cupcakes which I stamped onto the matching paper and also onto some mirri card, and then fussy cut. It has various toppings and bottoms in it whcih is good. The cadle is from another freebie set from a magazine and the canes are from a MME christmas set. the sweet is from a freebie set from a magazine from ages ago. I got the snowman ribbon ages ago.
I added a red strip with a yellow piece underneath. I have used a X cut border punch on this.

I have also stamped the inside.

have a great evening everyone! I am looking forward to getting lots of crafting done this weekend as my little man is off the grandmas for the weekend!!

let it snow

Hi everyone!
I have had a lovely weekend and hope you all have too! We met my brother at Twinlakes at Leicester which is a theme park for kids-the weather was amazing and we all had fun!
I managed to finish this card, although I am not happy with it or it's photo. It's so hard to get a good a good picture near the end of the day now. Any tops would be appreciated on photographing cards for blogs!

This is based on the sketch at case this sketch. I thought of ric rac straight away but not sure if I have got this one quite right. I wanted to add a wave of snowflake then more ric rac but my card ran out of room!

The snowflakes die cuts are memory box. I have stamped and embossed the sentiment with regular red WOW embossing powder. I used Debbie Moore irridescent embossing powder which has shown up (almost too) well in this photo.
I die cut a snowflake out of mirri card and added a button in each one. I know this isn't part of the sketch but I felt my card needed somthing else.

Wishing everyone a fab evening-I am having an early night!
Thank you for any comments you make-they are always appreciated.

christmas skater

Another Christmas card!! I have decided to make lots over the next few weeks and then start making pressies!! It's christmas on a budget this year!! I have even resisted the Create and Craft offer of free postage this week in an attempt to save some pennies!
I've been busy since Cornwall and it's now caught up on me! Really tired now!

This card is made using a Marieanne stamp free in a magazine last year. It's so lovely to colour. I have coloured with my pro markers. The 25th stamp is a magazine freebie as are the papers. The trees are a Sizzix die cut. It's only a small card-aprrox 3 x 3".

christmas fairy

This is a card I had in my brain for a bit and when I saw a challenge for fairies and winged things I thought this is it!
The image is an acetate one-there is a solid image on the inside of the card. It is hard to see the acetate.
I firtsly coloured the background using distress inks and stamped a grey snowflake on it.
Then i stamped and embossed the sentiment.I have added some snowflakes and gems.

thank you for any comments you make.

Hi all!!

I had a big crafty eveing last night after being in Cornwall for a week with no craft stuff!! God I was bored at night!
This is one I made for the festive friday challenge of using navy, white and silver for a christmas card.

I used an Ellison embossing folder to make the background and a memory box die for the silver and navy snowflakes. I stamped with a navy ink and rubbed a silver ink over the embossed area.

I have used a die cut stencil and the silver ink to make a silver area inside and a MME stamp for the To and From.

I have made another card for these colours which I will blog tomorrow!
thank for any comments you make and have a fab evening!

holiday cheer

Hi everyone! christmas time again!! I have a birthday card and a naming ceremony card to make for a little boy next week-I think I might have to cheat for the naming ceremony unless anyone has any ideas they can give me please?!!!

I made this card using a Sizzix set I got from their wondeful sale a couple of weeks ago.
It is a christmas one with stamps and matching dies.
The snowflake stamp is one I have in my stash and I have used some irridescent embossing powder on. It just about shows up! I have added glitter for the snow.

I stamped and paperpieced the reindeer and coloured him with pro markers, and then fussy cut him out. The embossing powder used for the sentiment is a wow one in regular green. The inks are dew drops.

Hope you like it, and thank you for looking!

racing christmas

Hi everybody!
This is my latest christmas card. I have used the sketch from sketch n stash #119

I have rotated it and used a stamp I got off ebay-no idea who made it but I wanted something for little boys cards. I liked it that much i decided to christmas it up! The bird is from a freebie set and the die cut tree is a memory box one, as are the snowflakes.
I've coloured him with pro markers and spectrum noirs. I have just started using spectrum noirs and am enjoying them!

The papers are all freebie ones from various magazines. i added 2 candis to each side.

Hope you like it and that it's christmasy!

Hi all!!
It's the weekend at last and tomrrow is my favourite saturday of the month-craft day!!
I have made this card for one of Austins little friends who is 2 next month! I found the stamp on ebay and absolutely love it! I have even truned it into a Christmas card which I will blog at a later date (when I have finished it!)
I have based the card on the challenge at here come the boys challenge 58 which is just squares.
I scored my card to make squares on teh background and used a checked piece of paper (freebie from a magazine).
The image has been coloured using promarkers and the brads are from my stash.

bears and sledge

This is a quick post as Austin is crazy today and I haven't much time!
We've had a hard two weeks with happy and sad times.
We hadmy beloved cat Morris put to sleep due to kidney disease. I am really missing him as he has been there for 14 years and saw me through a lot of house moves, divorce, illness and operations. But life goes on-and it did with austins second birthday at the beginning of this week. He is growing up so quick but I love spending time with him as he's so sweet and funny!

Anyway this is my card for the winter wonderland cute christmas  challenge.
My stamp is a Lili of the valley one taht I won a while back. I loved colouring it-even though my colouring needs practice!
The ribbon is create and craft embossed ribbon and I inked the background using Memento London Fog and a stamp of a snowflake. the yellow paper is my minds eye.

thanks for looking and any comments you make! Have a fab day x

simple snowflakes

Hi everyone!!
I have been playng with my big shot again!
I have used a memory box die and stuck some hunkydory christmas mirri card behind it.
Then I covered it with snowflake acetate-I love this stuff!!
The sentiment is a peel off and then I used the mirri card and cut out some red flakes for the inside.

I have been inspired by the sketch below:

splash birthday

Hi everyone!

It's a wonderful evening and summer is still here! and when I saw the CAS-colour and sketches sketch I knew I should use my stamp I coloured at the weekend!Thank you for this one louise van vuren

It is an Acid Drops and What Nots stamp-a freebie from a magazine then donated to me by my mum.
It's a brilliant stamp pack-so sweet and funny.
I have stamped using memento black and coloured with pro markers. The blue sea is a piece of leftovers from punching a border and the fish are from the Docrafts Ahoy There papers-I have cut them out.
I stamped the sentiment onto some Kanban card and used a spellbinder tag for it to go on.
I think it is a summery card and I am going to make a few more!

The tag on the inside is from Kanban and I tied some cord onto it.

Thank you for looking and for follwoing my blog!

snowflakes

Hi everyone!
Oh it's warm here!! I'm on anew routine at work so have the end of the week off now and am just getting used to the new routine. I find with a 2 year old I am getting less and less time to myself (or should I say-to craft!). I seem to be buying more stuff than I'm using!
I have used a Spellbinders wrought iron die in red-I think it looks like a snowflake! the background papers are freebies from a magazine and DCWV, and have been matted onto black. The smaller black snowflakes are using snowflakes border from memory box (one of my new purchases!!).

This round tag is from Spellbinders and I have used a freebie papermania stamp from the latest edition of Creativity mag. I have embossed it in silver and added some checked ribbon which was in my stash.
It is all based on the sketch at freshly made sketches
