handmade bag

Hi all reading this!
I am so excited-I have my first follower! welcome Lorraine-you have made my day!

I have made this bag for my godson Seth for his easter present-a bin lorry and some chocs!
The instructions on how to do it are in the latest docrafts Creativity magazine.

It is made from 1 piece of 12 x 12cm thick paper from my stash.
The gold mirri card is from the Range.
The Glitter card used to make the star is from create and craft-the template for the star is made from drawing round one of my sons toys!
The letters are also from create and craft.
The material for the handles came from my stash.
The stars peel offs are also create and craft.

It took me about 20 minutes to make this using my hougie board.
Here's a picture of the inside.
I am going to enter it in the following challenges:

chick, chick, chick, chick, chicken...

This is my 3rd version of this card which I finished last night! So far it is my favourite as I prefer the soft colours.

The cards and papers are from my stash.
The digi stamp is a freebie but I've forgotten where from!
I coloured with promarkers.
The flowers are made with Tonic stamps
the butterfly is a punch.
The sentimemt is a stamp from a recent magazine.
The gems are from ebay.

Hi all readng this
We were on holiday last week in the sun and now it's back to all this horrible snow again! I actually went away with no crafting to do except read my docrafts magazine! withdrawl set in quickly! When I got home I got a surprise-I had won a competition in Papercraft Essentials and won a stamp!Happy days especially as this month I have decided not to buy ANY craft items at all!! God it's so hard!
I have printed off some free digi images but I can't remember where I got them from. It's the first time I have made any easter cards. I have made 3 in various colours! Here is the first one:

time doesn't stand still

Hello to anyone reading this!
I have had a busy week-been to Northern Ireland and have been looking after my poorly (again!) boy. I have however managed to finish my dad's birthday card-phew!
I decided to have a go at the chronology theme but not having all the right colours had to improvise!
I have used some blue Kanban foiled and embossed card for the background and a sheet of white card which I stamped and coloured with Distress inks. I bought my first ever Spellbinders this week for my big shot-the wrought iron set whicg I die cut out of a bit of spare mirri card. I tried to make it look rusty with a mix of gold heat it up and wow paprika embossing powder-I thought it looked ok! I added a clock with some rope and a piece of paper with a sentiment on which I screwed up and tore and coloured to make it look authentic. The embellishments are cog stamps and the globe is stamped in the distress ink too. All stamps are free ones from the do craft magazine Creativity.
thanks for lookinh-please leave a comment even if it is to give improvement advice or alternative ideas!

mother in laws mothers day!

My 2nd mother's day card! this one is for the mother in law! This is using some docrafts papers and DCWV. The stamp is a docrafts one from the country companion collection which I coloured with pro markers. I cut the star from a free stencil I downloaded. The ribbon is from the pound shop and the flowers are docrafts too. The stars in the corners are from my stash and the sentiment printed from the computer.

I am all mothered out now with my two cards! Now I have to think of presents!

I am entering this in the one stop challenge mothers day challenge

Mother's day

A card I've made for my mum. I have used papers from DCWV and the Sheena Douglass lily stamp I am currently in love with!. I coloured it with pro markers and added silver diamantes which I also coloured. The flowers are homemade with black card and glittered on the ends. I have added a pink dome sparkle to each one. The pink brads are from docrafts and the sentiment just printed off the computer!
